MLS Young Guns – Week 5

It’s all about young players getting into the scoring table this last week as Chukwudi Chijindu (Chivas), Bryan Jordan (Galaxy), and Macoumba Kandji (Red Bulls) score their first goals of the season.  Chukwudi comes to MLS this year from the University of Connecticut where he was a psych! major, while Bryan and Macoumba came from the USL.  Both Chukwudi and Bryan are from California, while Macoumba is from Senegal.

Consistency is key, and hard learned in youth.  Who can keep building on their tally and help their team to the MLS Cup?  Psychology is certainly part of it.  None of the prior members of this list managed to score last week – precise quality in a finish is what’s required.
